This policy explains what personal data Trend Templates collects, why, and what you can do
about it. We collect as little as we can: there are no advertising cookies on this site. We do use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited; it is described under Cookies below.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Tetiana Rymarova, trading as Trend Templates, Avda. Juan Carlos I, 81, 1-6, 03440 Ibi (Alicante), Spain.
Email: hello@trendtemplates.com. Full business details are on the Legal notice
page.
What we collect and why
When you buy a template
Your name, email address and the billing details you enter at checkout, what you bought and
what you paid, and, recorded automatically with the order, your IP address and browser type.
We use this to deliver your templates, send the order confirmation, give you access to your
downloads, answer support requests and keep the accounting records the law requires. You buy
as a guest: we do not create customer accounts.
Legal basis: performing our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our
legal obligations on tax and accounting records (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
How long: order records are kept for as long as Spanish tax and commercial law
requires, currently up to six years.
Payment
Payments are handled by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. When you pay by PayPal or
card, your payment details go directly to PayPal: we never see or store your card number.
PayPal tells us whether the payment went through and processes your payment data as an
independent controller under its own privacy statement.
Free templates and our emails
If you sign up for the free templates, we keep your email address, the page where you signed
up and the date, and use them to send you new templates and offers now and then.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any
time with the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or by writing to us; this does not affect
emails already sent.
How long: until you unsubscribe.
When you email us
Your email address and whatever you include in the message, used to reply to you.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering messages, or steps
before a contract when you ask about a purchase (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).
How long: for as long as needed to deal with your request and any
follow-up.
Visiting the site
Like any website, our server records technical data when a page is requested: IP address,
browser, the page and the time. Our hosting provider keeps these logs for a limited period to
run the site and protect it from attacks.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and
working (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
We use the cookies the shop needs in order to work, and one analytics tool:
- Cart and checkout (woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart,
wp_woocommerce_session_…): remember what is in your cart; they expire when you close the
browser or after 48 hours at most. - PayPal: on pages that show PayPal buttons and on the payment step, PayPal
loads its own script and cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. - Checkout protection: our checkout runs Google reCAPTCHA, which sets its
own cookies and sends your IP address and how you interact with the page to Google, to tell a
real buyer from an automated attack. It runs on the checkout page only. - Google Analytics: sets its own cookies (such as _ga) to tell one visit from another and count page views. Google receives your IP address and the pages you view. We use it only for aggregate statistics; you can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Apart from the payment, checkout protection and Google Analytics described above, the site loads nothing from third parties: fonts come from our own server and there are no advertising or social media trackers.
Who else handles your data
We do not sell or rent personal data. It is shared only with the providers that run parts of
the shop for us, and with others only where the law requires it:
- Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus): website hosting, our email and
the newsletter service. It processes data on our behalf under a data processing
agreement. - PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (Luxembourg): payments, as
described above. - Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC: reCAPTCHA on the checkout page, to
protect the shop against automated card-testing attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest
in preventing fraud (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). - Our accountant and the tax authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that
happens, the transfer is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision or the Standard
Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use
it, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at
any time. Write to hello@trendtemplates.com and we will answer within one month. Order records that we are
legally required to keep are retained until that obligation ends, even after a deletion
request.
If you think we have mishandled your data, you can complain to the Spanish data protection
authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos
(www.aepd.es), or to the authority in your
own EU country.
Visitors from the United States
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Wherever you live, you can request a copy of your data or its deletion at the email above.
Children
The shop is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their
data.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
